Essential Oils

Essential oils are powerful aromatic plant compounds.

These natural oils have been a part of the human experience for thousands of years. Aromatically, essential oils operate as tiny chemical messengers that work with the limbic (emotional) region of our brain. Topically, essential oils enter the bloodstream through the skin. Once through the skin the oil penetrates the lipid (fat) walls of cells throughout the body in seconds.  A recent study revealed the impact of viruses on our DNA (located inside the cell). It appears that those viruses may be flipping genetic switches! Essential oils are actively being studied with interest by scientists because of their complex chemistry and ability to pass into the cell.

Knowing that I have these potent plant compounds in my in my life and on MY shelf is empowering.

I have been safely and happily using EO’s aromatically, topically and internally for several years with great results. I also love to use them as ingredients in making natural, non-toxic body and cleaning products. This section (category) is devoted to research articles, tips, application, DIY recipes and posts about implementing these powerful little tools in your healthstyle.

Please, ONLY use the best essential oils! If the label says “not for internal use” it’s not safe and probably not real.
